Professional artists visit Delphi Teen Sketch and Teen Media Programs
March 2022
In addition to learning visual art and filmmaking skills, a primary goal of the Delphi Project Program is to introduce students to professional artists and a variety of career paths and opportunities. While the pandemic has created challenges, one awesome benefit of virtual programming is access to artists from all of the country.
A few of the many recent guest artists who have inspired Delphi students include:
- David Schlesinger: Head set designer for movies such as Knives Out, John Wick, The Twilight Sagas, and other TV series and movies
- Miguel Diez Aznar: Animator who has created work for Taylor Swift and Sean Mendes videos, Michelle Obama’s Waffles + Mochi, and The Walking Dead.
- John Olshefski: An Emmy Award nominated filmmaker and Sundance Film Festival Participant
- Tiona McClodden and Michelle Angela Ortiz: Two multi-media artists who recently exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and other places across the country.
Going forward, the Delphi Project programs will continue to have a hybrid of in-person and virtual programming.
